At Camelot we teach a very powerful and different approach to interacting in real-life situations in a way that results in successful, productive and satisfying workplace relationships. Our introductory “New Approaches To Managing Work Relationships” workshop covers the skills that greatly enhance the effectiveness, focus and satisfaction of your interactions.

This workshop focuses on the acquisition of a set of skills that originated with the Person-Centered Approach, a method developed by the innovative American psychologist Carl Rogers, who was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1987. Participants learn the practice of:

Congruence, which focuses on “where I’m at”

Empathy, being with a person while they grow and develop

Empathetic listening, understanding the other in their own terms

Unconditional positive regard, allows relationships to function and flourish even when differences seem insurmountable

By applying these skills, the instructor will demonstrate how powerful the use of these skills is and teach you how to use them to get what you want interdependently with others as opposed to being dependent upon others or at the expense of others.

Camelot's workshops are very powerful and effective. Clients have reported:

» actively seeking to resolve interpersonal or interdepartmental conflicts instead of avoiding such problems

» relief from the pain and energy loss of repeated unsuccessful communication attempts

» a sense of hope replacing the frustration of being stuck in difficult relationships

» successful conversion of defensiveness, resistance and blaming into responsibility

» enhanced leadership abilities

» advancement at work

» growth in personal development through more satisfying relationships
